Advice before taking long distance trip on a old vehicle?

A 2003 KIA with 100K miles on it hasn't begun to get old. I just finished driving my 1999 Cadillac on a 1500 mile trip from Reno, Nevada to Spokane, Washington and back in three days, and the only maintenance it needs is a good car wash. If you maintain them properly, they'll run forever!
