Could I possibly be pregnant?

I'm just going to be blunt, here. I have been having unprotected sex with my fiance since January of last year. Stupid? Yeah, I know. What's odd enough is the fact that I wasn't pregnant months ago. I have not been on birth control since we got together. My period has always been pretty regular, occasionally being a couple days later than expected, but I've never missed a period. Until now. It was due on May 25th, and hasn't shown up. I haven't even had signs that my period is going to start. I began having a weird, mild cramp-like feeling in my lower abdomen a few days ago. But I've never had cramps from a period before. I am going to take a pregnancy test if my period doesn't start in a week. Is there anyone with the same story? If so, a little advice please? I understand I was not smart, in my actions, but please refrain from putting me down. I've had plenty of that from my family. Thank you :)
