Touring India as a foreign tourist: Is an Indian post office savings account feasible?

you can change your money to rupees at the airport ..but there are a lot of exchange shops in all cities you get a better rate in these ..just wear a body belt ..i did ..had �3,000 in it ..no probs ...make sure you have plenty of antiseptic wipes ..if travelling by train ONLYgo first class ..air con ..but be prepared to be shocked ..these people are so poor
