How to open an current account with an bank?

I have already started an business related to machineries supplier, and i got very good response from my new clients and they are ready to pay me advance cheques, but in the company/firms name but i don't have such account in bank. Is there any way to open an bank account so, what will be procedures/formalities/documents required at the time of opening an bank account? I am residing in hyderabad, India. If someone from bank sector please answer me in details.
