Whos better to join FBI vs NYPD ?

The FBI is a Federal law enforcement agency, the NYPD is a municipal Police Department, which means they only have jurisdiction in New York. Both will require you to have a degree in Criminal Justice if I'm not mistaken. I know that college education is a requirement for the FBI, as well as all other Federal agencies, including CIA, ATF, DEA, NSA, Marshals, etc. Working in narcotics or organized crime requires you to make detective. Any way you look at it, regardless of if the agency has a degree requirement, one of the universal requirements for detective is college. You're also going to have to spend a few years as a street cop before you ever get the chance at detective. Detectives in a Police force are concidered similar to Officers in the Military. If you want to be a cop, shoot for it, and work hard at trying to make detective, but for now, just focus on becoming a police officer if that is what you want. Do your research, and formulate short term goals that will help you toward your long term ones.
